The Minnesota Wild (41-24-8) lost to the visiting Los Angeles Kings (40-27-6) 4-3 Monday night in overtime at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. More importantly, the Wild gain another point in the standings as the regular season winds down.

The Wild were down 2-0 in the second period before reeling off three straight goals by Zach Parise (9), Eric Staal (39), and Joel Erickson Ek (4) gave Minnesota a 3-2 lead late into the third. The Kings scored with just 47 seconds left in regulation to force overtime -- where they scored again with just 33 seconds left in the extra session.
