The Minnesota Wild (29-21-7) picked up a crucial road win last night, beating the Calgary Flames (32-22-4) 3-2 in overtime. The win leaves the Wild one point behind in the race for the final Wild Card playoff spot currently held by the Los Angeles Kings.

Mikko Koivu scored the game winner for the Wild just 1:50 into overtime. The first two goals came from Fontaine and Dumba. Devan Dubnyk made 35 saves.

Minnesota defenseman Jared Spurgeon was injured in the first period and did not return.

Next for the Wild; tomorrow night at Edmonton at 8 PM (Radio: 1240 WJON, TV: Fox Sports North).
