This is one of my favorite things to do every year!

It's a tradition in my family to go out sometime during the holiday season and look at Christmas lights.  We've done it since I was a kid and I remember seeing some amazing holiday displays.

One that sticks out in my mind was from when I was probably 5 or 6 years old.  We were living in Minnetonka at the time and we took my Grandma out with us.  I think it was over in Hopkins, there was a place that was decorated to the nines.  I'm talking lights and plastic Santa figure.  There was a manger scene and they even had a Christmas Roger Rabbit Jack-in-the-Box type thing that was huge.  It was so amazing.

I'm still very much a kid at heart and I enjoy seeing the lights people put up each year.  I like seeing how creative they get and sometimes even the simplest display is incredibly beautiful.

I haven't seen too many lights around Monticello this year and that's okay because I'd like to explore someplace new.  Where are some of the best light displays you've seen in Central Minnesota?
