The St. Cloud State Husky hockey team has experienced a great deal of success over the past decade, and the attendance continues to rise at the renovated Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

But where does St. Cloud rank when it comes to the best cities in the country for hockey fans?

According to WalletHub.com's recent study, St. Cloud ranks 51st out of the 72 cities with either a NHL team or NCAA Division 1 college hockey program.

Detroit, Michigan earned the top spot overall in the study, which used criteria such as performance level, championship wins, season ticket prices and fan engagement.

St. Cloud ranked as the 31st best college hockey city, with Boston taking the top spot.
