Yesterday was the beginning of Spring right? It sure seem that way. With the warm temperatures across the state and the amount of rain we've had, it seems like Spring came and went without us even realizing it.

Today is the longest day of the year - the summer solstice. That means here in Minnesota we'll get three hours of complete darkness? - at least it seems that way. I tell you, this was the hardest thing for me to adjust to when I moved here just over three years ago.

Going to bed at 10pm and still having daylight outside just seems wrong to me. It makes your body not want to shut down properly and causes me to be a little more tired than I am in the winter. It is just weird to me to wake up and it is daylight and go to bed with daylight. I guess I would never be able to live in Canada or Alaska.

Tomorrow is the first full day of summer. What are you planning to do? Me, I'll probably be doing the same thing I do every other day of the week - I'll be right here with you!

Happy Summer!
