I think most of us agree that nothing is less helpful in getting to know our candidates than the maddening onslaught of political ads. I've scoured the internet, and have been disappointed by the lack of useful information. Any suggestions on where to look for good, unbiased info on Minnesota candidates?

I don't think just voting is good enough. 'Educated' voting is what makes a difference. Voting along one party line or another doesn't cut it for me. I want to find out what these candidates stand for, what their track records look like, and how they perform.

Sure, I guess I could personally interview each one of them, attend debates, and dig in and do extensive research myself (all not happening by the way), but I was hoping that there would be access to information from some unaffiliated group.

The best I have found so far is TheVoterGuide.org. You can customize it for your voting location. It's not perfect, but I do like that you get responses to questions directly from the candidates.

Let me know if you're aware of other resources. Thanks!
