I can't imagine getting the home of my dreams and then having something like this happen.

According to ABC's 20/20 a couple in California purchased their dream home and it was an absolutely amazing time for them.  Not only did they have a beautiful home, but they were excited to start their family.  Then the nightmare began.

At first it was just a note offering to buy the house for $100,000 more than the couple purchased it for.  After that it turned a little more ominous -- their mail was canceled, people came to their house thinking it was for sale because it had been listed on Zillow.  Then there was the Valentine's Day cards that went out to all the women in the neighborhood and were signed by the husband.

There were several other incidents but it didn't take long for the authorities to figure out who was behind this harassment.  Apparently, that wasn't just the couple's dream home, it was also someone else's.

I can't even begin to imagine what this family went through and for the stupidest reason.  I can't comprehend wanting something so badly that I would terrorize someone else to get it.  It's sick and so wrong.
