Whats The Story Behind Eric Church Always Wearing Sunglasses

Most of us wear sunglasses because the sun is bright, Eric Church wears sunglasses because of the lighting at his shows.

Many people have thought that Church is trying to be more "rock" than "country" due to him never wearing a cowboy hat, but always a baseball hat and of course his signature sunglasses.

Church said in this interview from a few years ago, that because of his height, the lights would "fry my contacts"... he actually thought that wearing the sunglasses would be a bad idea, but it was the only solution to his fried contacts.
