What Isolated Storms In Central Minnesota’s Forecast Really Means To Me

I don't know about you, but I hear something completely different when the weather forecasters say we've got thunderstorms predicted for the week. Here's our weather forecast as translated by me (a woman);

Clouds-We can handle clouds. Do whatever you want with your hair today, because weather really won't be much of a factor. Since you're not going to have a ton of natural light to work with, your contouring needs to be on point today. Go hog wild with whatever makeup you want.

Humidity-Throw your hair up in a ponytail otherwise you're going to look like a giant frizz ball. Don't even waste your time blow drying your hair--there's really no point. Hairspray is a must for some major damage control. Maybe even wear a nice hat. It's going to be a bad hair day and you're going to do whatever you can to take the focus off of your hair. Try wearing a really cute outfit.

Rain-Don't even waste your time messing around with your hair--put it up in ponytail or a nice messy bun and go with waterproof mascara. You'll want to use hairspray galore today. Don't you dare leave the house without an umbrella or you'll regret it. Don't wear sandles. You'll want some waterproof shoes and and a waterproof suit if you have it. It's OK to dress for comfort today because no matter what you wear, it'll get wet.

Windy-You'll probably want to pack a hat with you. Otherwise your hair will be one tangled up rats nest. Use some extra moisturizer or your skin is going to dry out. Pants and long sleeves are a must. Maybe even pack a light jacket just in case. Skip your sticky lip gloss--you don't want sand and dust sticking to your lips.
