What Is Jake Owen Doing to Prepare for His New Baby?

Jake Owen is one of the nicest guys in country music and now that he and his wife Lacey are expecting their first child, he has to start getting things ready. Instead of being on the road constantly or just sitting around and waiting, Jake has taken on a very important task to getting everything prepared for the arrival!

So what has dad to be done? He painted the nursery!

Some say that's one of the most important things you can do to prepare for the arrival of a newborn. Others say it is getting the hang of changing diapers down. No word on whether he has been practicing that skill just yet.

The Owens' daughter, Pearl, is expected within the next couple of weeks and you can see Jake live in Minnesota in 2013. He is slated to headline at Moondance Jammin' Country Festival next June.
