What Gives? Well Hopefully Today, You Do

I'd never heard of it before, but today is apparently a newer yearly tradition called #GivingTuesday! Here's a few ideas of what you can do to help someone today...

I guess I got my #GivingTuesday started early with bringing Captain America to a car dealership yesterday. That idea leads my list of simple things you can do to be a part of this special service day:

• Toys for Tots at Miller Auto: bring a new unwrapped toy at least $10 in value to Miller by Friday and get a free oil change!
• CLICK HERE to give donations to our Movember team for men's health awareness.
• stop to help a stranger on the side of the road during your commute.
• call and make plans with an elder relative.
• "pay it backward" in the fast food drive thru by paying for the customer behind you.
• "pay it forward" by remembering the last time life cut you a break & doing the same for someone else.
• Visit a nursing home.
• Go through your closet and donate any items you haven't worn in the last year.
• Make a meal or dish for a new neighbor.
• CLICK HERE to fill out an application with Catholic Charities and have them place you where there's a need!
