What Are Friends For if They’re Not Here to Pick on You

The title of the book doesn't lie.

I was just sitting in the studio this afternoon when I received some mail from up front. I didn't have anything sent to work so I was confused what it could be and then I noticed the return address was from Luverne, MN. Luverne was the first place I worked in radio, but the address was not from the station's location... I became even more confused.

Then I opened it up and attached to the book was a sticky note from my friend, Angi. Angi and I had the "when are you are getting married talk" a hundred times, even after I had left Luverne the conversation came up.

I gave Angi the same answer every single time, "NEVER!"... Little did I know, Angi was right all along.

So when I opened up the package and saw the book, "The Clueless Groom's Guide" and her note, I couldn't stop laughing to the point of running out of air.

I haven't read the book yet, but I'm guessing it could be summed up with one sentence, "yes dear, whatever you think is best dear, that sounds good dear"... but my days of being clueless, which I definitely am, will hopefully be gone soon.
