PAYNESVILLE --  A community meeting in Paynesville organized by Patty and Jerry Wetterling has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Sunday).

The meeting is meant as a way to help central Minnesota residents cope with recent developments in their son’s case.

It will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Paynesville High School, with a Question and Answer with Patty Wetterling following a short presentation.

52-year-old Daniel James Heinrich was charged in October with four counts of child pornography possession and also named a person of interest in Jacob Wetterling‘s disappearance. Wetterling hasn’t been seen since he was abducted near his St. Joseph home on October 22nd, 1989.

A string of unsolved sexual assaults on young Paynesville boys preceded Jacob Wetterling’s disappearance.
