Minnesota is known for it's great music venues, but there's one particular location that can't seem to keep it's doors open. They just announced they'll close by the end of the year.

If you've ever been to the Mill City Nights music venue in Minneapolis in the past 4 years it's been open, you may have mixed feelings on the quality of the space to listen to the different variety of music they host inside. They just announced that they will not continue the business after the end of the year.

Reviews of the venue range from people loving the different variety of acts, to weak but expensive drinks, awful security and management, as well as bad overall sound quality. The explanation for closing isn't fully known and would be hard to determine if the negative reviews are part of the cause for closing.

The building has been leased as a music club to a few different companies. It's been home to Club 3 Degrees (a christian music club), The Brick, and Mill City Nights. It's hosted mostly music acts that wouldn't be able to play a large stadium. Past country acts include: Cole Swindell, Eric Paslay, and Dan + Shay. The last country music acts coming before they close will include: David Nail (October 12th) and Kelsea Ballerini (November 19th).
