It’s no secret by now that one of my favorite things to do is read the Sartell Police Department blotter. What they consider to be news worthy is a little endearing and highly entertaining. It’s always nice to read police reports and realize that not everybody is always up to shady things! Sartell is proof of that.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite police calls spanning from March 9-15;

March 10, 5:34 pm. Heritage Drive. Kids being kids...aka Juvenile Problem. A complaint was made regarding a young juvenile male outside shooting a BB gun. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate the male."

March 11, 4:27 am. Caitlyn Court. Garage door phantom noises aka "Burglary in Progress. A report was made regarding residents hearing their garage door open. Officers cleared the garage and found nothing out of place. No further action was taken."

March 13, 11:02 pm. 6th Ave North. This is very specific..."Suspicious Activity. Suspicious Activity was reported in the area. Officers drove and walked through in the area and were unable to locate anyone."

March 15, 3:42 pm. Scout Drive. Man chilling in the grass...aka "Welfare Check. A report was made regarding a male lying face down in a grassy area. Officers arrived and found a male reading and listening to music. He stated he did not need assistance."

Hopefully the blotter put a smile on your face like it did mine today! Keep being you, Sartell!
