Kids Day Movie In The Park

A free showing of "The Good Dinosaur" kicks off right after the kiddie parade in Pavilion Park. Free popcorn will be available thanks to Marcus Parkwood Cinema.

Medallion Hunt

Participants will be searching for a medallion from now until it’s found. Clues are posted everyday on the city’s website, at city hall and on the Waite Park TV channel 181. The winner will receive their prize on Saturday, June 10 in Waite Park Community Park. Today’s clue is;

Medallion Hunt Clue #1

Pick a pole
Before you head out
The wrong decision
Is the longer route

Medallion Hunt Clue #2

A boundary nearby
Is a place to perch
Consider wisely
Then begin your search

Medallion Hunt Clue #3

An old place to begin
Support in its name
With a three foot ending
But avoid just the same

Geocaching contest

The geocaching contest continues today through Friday throughout the City of Waite Park. If you’ve never tried geocaching before, it’s essentially a GPS game of hide and seek! Participants will use their GPS to locate containers called “geocaches”. Once you locate the “geocache” you’ll open it and record the code located inside. The code will correspond with a square on your game card, which you can pick up at City Hall. The goal is to find as many as you can before Friday at 5 p.m. You’re asked to bring your completed cards to Waite Park Community Park on Friday between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to claim your prize. You’ll also be entered into a drawing to win a large prize on Saturday, June 10.
