Volunteers Needed

The flood forecast is calling for plenty of rivers in our area to extend their bounds this year. The rain and snow in this storm certainly isn't helping matters any!

Benton County is looking for volunteers to help fill sandbags. If you have some spare time to fill sandbags on Wednesday) through Friday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m, please get in touch with the United Way to sign up. All volunteers should first check-in at the Watab Township Hall.  If you're able to help, you can sign-up by going to the website unitedwayhelps.org or call 211.

Many of our neighbors will need these sand bags to protect their property when the water rises. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!
