The Minnesota Vikings (5-1) sputtered on offense from the onset, underperformed on special teams, and never were able to right the ship -- falling to the Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) 21-10 today in Philly for the Vikings' first loss of the season.

Let's just forget today's ugly performance, and look ahead -- hoping it was an anomaly in the 2016-17 season. It's not easy to do though, as it seems like there are some big problems in Vikingland.

While the defense was it's reliable self, the special teams unit had a few big mistakes, and the offensive line was horrific.

Quick! Turn the page. Let's hope today was an exception to the rule this season. (But was it?)

Next week the Vikings host the Chicago Bears (1-6) on Monday Night Football at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Halloween Night.

Skol Vikings!
