Vikings Sputter Again, Fall to Bears in Chicago

The Minnesota Vikings (5-2) sputtered for the second straight week, this time falling to the woeful Chicago Bears (2-6) 20-10 last night in the Windy City. It was just Chicago's second win of the season.

Last week I told myself to forget the ugly performance, and look ahead -- hoping it was an anomaly in the 2016-17 season. This week I'm swallowing the bitter pill -- thinking that what looked like a promising season has given way to an ugly, injury ridden mess.

Ahh, the life of a Minnesota sports fan (yes, I'm feeling sorry for myself).

This Sunday the Vikings host the Detroit Lions (4-4) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. I've got tickets for my dad and I. At least the stadium should be cool.
