The Minnesota Vikings (2-0) topped the visiting Green Bay Packers (1-1) 17-14 last night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Adrian Peterson left the game in the third quarter with an injured knee, and is expected to undergo an MRI today to determine the extent of the injury.

Sam Bradford threw a pair of TD passes. Stefan Diggs had 182 yards in receiving. The Vikings sacked Aaron Rodgers five times. The Minnesota defense forced four fumbles, recovering two of them. And Trey Waynes intercepted Rodgers in the 4th quarter.

Not a bad grand opening in the new stadium!

Next up for the Vikings: The Carolina Panthers this Sunday (9/25) at Noon in Charlotte.

Skol Vikings!
