The Minnesota Vikings (5-3-1) set a new team record, sacking Matthew Stafford ten times en route to a 24-9 win over the Detroit Lions Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.

Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter had 3½ sacks and a fumble recovery returned 32 yards for a touchdown. Tom Johnson, Everson Griffen, Mackensie Alexander, Stephen Weatherly, and Sheldon Richardson also participated in the sack fest.

Minnesota receiver Adam Thielen saw his consecutive 100+ receiving yards game streak come to an end at eight games, tied for the NFL record with retired Detroit receiver Calvin 'Megatron' Johnson. Theilen had four catches for 22 yards and a touchdown today.

Kirk Cousins completed 18 of 22 attempts for 164 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Dalvin Cook returned from a hamstring injury to carry the ball 10 times for 89 yards as Minnesota's leading rusher. Laquon Treadwell was the leading Vikings receiver with 2 catches for 37 yards.
