The Minnesota Vikings (5-0) overpowered the visiting Houston Texans (3-2) 31-13 this afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. With the win the Vikings improve to 5-0 for the first time since 2009 when they started the season with six straight wins.

Minnesota has now one eight straight regular season games going back to the end of last season -- the longest active streak in the league. The Vikings remain one of only two remaining unbeaten teams in the NFL, along with the Denver Broncos..

The Vikes have next week off, then head to Philadelphia to face the Eagles on Sunday, October 23rd.
