The Minnesota Vikings (1-0) opened their 2016-17 season with a 25-16 win this afternoon against the Titans in Tennessee. The Vikings trailed 10-0 before they came storming back with 25 unanswered points, powered by a pair of second half defensive touchdowns.

Eric Kendricks gave the Vikings a 12-10 lead when he stepped in front of a pass by Marcus Mariota and returned it 77 yards for a touchdown. Danielle Hunter scooped up a fumbled exchange between Mariota and DeMarco Murray and sprinted 24 yards for a touchdown to give the Vikings a 22-10 lead.

Getting the start at QB, Shaun Hill completed 18 of 33 for 236 yards. Adrian Peterson carried the ball 19 times for just 31 yards.

Next Sunday the Vikings host the Packers in the regular season grand opening of the new U.S. Bank Stadium on NBC's Sunday Night Football at 7:30 PM CT.
