Following the first week fiasco in San Francisco, the Minnesota Vikings were ranked 25th out of the 32 teams in ESPN's weekly NFL Power Rankings. And frankly, after watching the crap game against the 49ers I think that ranking was kind. They make a nice jump this week. Here's the digits.

ESPN comments:
The Vikings' formula for winning? Get Adrian Peterson the ball. Peterson had 29 rushes Sunday, and had more rushes in the first quarter (13) than he did in all of Week 1 (10).
The biggest riser of the week is the New York Jets, jumping twelve spots from #21 to #9. The biggest fall of the week belongs to the New Orleans Saints, dropping eight positions from #22 to #30.
