Cordarrelle Patterson opened the game with a 105-yard return of the opening kickoff, giving the Vikings a quick 7-0 lead. After that it was back and forth, with big returns, fumbles, interceptions, and more. Ultimately, Chicago scored with ten seconds remaining to get the win.

Adrian Peterson carried the ball 26 times for 100 yards. Christian Ponder went 16 for 30, for 227 yards, including an interception, and a touchdown to Kyle Rudolph in the third quarter.

Viking defensive lineman Brian Robinson returned a Matte Forte fumble 61-yards for a Minnesota touchdown in the second quarter.

Blair Walsh added three second half field goals (28, 28, 22).

Jay Cutler connected with Michael Bennett on a 16-yard pass with ten seconds left in the game to give Chicago it's second straight win.

The Vikings (0-2) next face the Cleveland Browns (1-1) on Sunday, September 21st at Noon in Minneapolis.
