Vikings Fall To Ravens 29-26

Whew, that was close. For a minute I was afraid that the Minnesota Vikings (3-9-1) were going to screw up there draft status with a win. I should have known better. The Vikes came up on the short end of a fourth quarter, back-and-forth scoring flurry, falling to the Baltimore Ravens (7-6) 29-26.

On a snowy afternoon in Baltimore, the Vikings took a slim  7-6 lead into the fourth quarter, before the flood gates opened on both sides -- with a combined 42 points scored in the final quarter minutes (four TDs in two minutes), leaving Minnesota with another mark in the loss column.

Adrian Peterson was carted off the field in the second quarter with what has been initially called a foot sprain.

As it stands now, Minnesota would have the fourth overall pick in the draft, behind Houston, Washington, and Atlanta.

Next up for the Vikings; the Philadelphia Eagles at the dome next Sunday.
