The Minnesota Vikings (6-6) kept it close to the bitter end, but eventually fell to the visiting Dallas Cowboys (11-1) 17-15 last night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Vikings attempted a 2-point conversion with just seconds left in regulation -- but came up short.

With just four games remaining, the Vikings will be hard-pressed to secure a playoff spot at this point. After winning their first five games of the season, the Vikings have now lost six of their last seven.

Head coach Mike Zimmer continues to recover from Wednesday night's emergency eye surgery, which forced him to miss last night's game.
