The Minnesota Vikings (2-4) lost to the visiting Detroit Lions (4-2) 17-3 this afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Minnesota offense sputtered throughout, completing their second straight game with out scoring a touchdown.

Teddy Bridgewater completed 23 of 37 passes for 188 yards, with 3 interceptions. Rookie running back Jerick McKinnon was the leading Vikings rusher, carrying the ball 11 times for 40 yards. He was also the teams leading receiver with 6 catches for 42 yards.

Next Sunday the Vikings travel to New York to face the Buffalo Bills (3-3).
