The Minnesota Vikings (2-2) battled back, but ultimately came up just short, falling to the Denver Broncos (4-0) 23-20 yesterday afternoon in the Mile High City. Playing behind a patchwork offensive line, Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater was sacked seven times. The Vikings have a bye next week.

Teddy Bridgewater completed 27-of-41 passes for 269 yards and one touchdown. Adrain Peterson rushed 16 times for 81 yards, including a 48 yard touchdown. Rookie Stefan Diggs was the leading Minnesota receiver with six catches for 87 yards. Mike Wallace caught his first touchdown as a Viking.

Blair Walsh missed another field goal, this time from 38 yards out. By the looks of the final score, we could have used that. (#$%&!)

After having next Sunday off, the Vikings return home to face the Kansas City Chiefs at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 18th.

Skol!
