Vikings Face Panthers Today in Carolina

The Minnesota Vikings (2-0) face the Carolina Panthers (1-1) today in Charlotte. Protestors in Charlotte said this morning that they will attempt to block entry to the stadium. Both teams were able to enter the facility without incident. The kickoff is scheduled for Noon CT.

The protests are in response to the deadly shooting of Keith Scott by police earlier this week. Just days ago there were talks of moving or cancelling the game, but officials decided that the game would go on as planned.

The Vikings are coming off a 17-14 win over Green Bay Sunday night in Minneapolis. The Panthers beat the 49ers 46-27 in Charlotte last Sunday.

The Panthers are 7 point favorites.

The game will be televised on FOX, and can be heard on AM 1240 WJON.
