The Minnesota Vikings (1-2) host the Atlanta Falcons (2-1) this afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with the kickoff set for 3:25 PM (Radio: AM 1240 WJON, TV: Fox). The game will mark the first NFL start for Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Bridgewater's start comes as a result of a Matt Cassel season-ending foot injury suffered in the second quarter of last week's loss in New Orleans. Bridgewater entered last week's game in relief of Cassel -- for the first game action of his NFL career.

In addition to being with our their starting quarterback, the Vikes will be without suspended star running back Adrian Peterson and injured pro bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph.

The game time forecast is for sunshine and 81˚. The visiting Falcons are 3 point favorites.
