Vikings Break Camp In Mankato; Host Bills Friday

The Vikings broke camp in Mankato Wednesday and will host Buffalo Friday night in their 2nd preseason game at 7pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:00.  The Vikings were at camp in Mankato since July 26 and will now resume training camp activities at their Winter Park facility in Eden Prairie.

Viking quarterback Christian Ponder said Wednesday that he feels this Vikings team is a playoff team and that his goal is to complete 75% of his passes on 1st and 2nd downs.  Adrian Peterson continues to participate at camp for the Vikings but still isn’t allowed any contact.  He could be allowed to get contact as early as next week.
