The Vikings have given running back Adrian Peterson and defensive end Jared Allen a break this week.  Both missed practice Thursday for precautionary reasons.  Peterson has a sprained left ankle and Allen has been bothered by a groin injury.  Both are expected to play Sunday when the Vikings host Arizona at noon, pregame on WJON at 11am.

Receiver Jerome Simpson has been a full participant at practice all week and is expected to play Sunday after being deactivated Sunday at Washington.  The following Viking players were limited in practice Thurdsay; safety Mistral Raymond, cornerback Antoine Winfield, linebacker Marvin Mitchell, safety Robert Blanton and running back Matt Asiata.  Both Christian Ponder and Jerome Simpson were listed as full participants at practice.

The Vikings and Cardinals are both 4-2 this season.  The Vikings are 6-point favorites Sunday against Arizona.  The Vikings will come back and play at home against Tampa Bay next Thursday at 7:20.
