Valentine’s Day Thoughts From Our Favorite Country Stars
Sure, Miranda Lambert is a heck of a catch but she’s done alright too. It’s not easy to find a guy this smart about love. Blake Shelton says, "Being able to look at Miranda, and know everything about her – and know the good times, the bad times, every habit she has, and everything she does, and I don't have a problem with one thing about her. I can find something in everything she does and says that is awesome. She's something that I'm constantly in awe of the things that she does and she says and the way she looks. And it just doesn't get old to me. I don't get tired of it. I know that's a lame way to talk about love, but when you talk about being in love with somebody, I think as I've gotten older, once you get past those early days of you cry when they go to the grocery store [laughs] and you don't want to sleep so you can stare at them. Once you get past that and you still feel the way I'm talking about, to me, that's when it gets good."
Easton Corbin’s Valentine’s Day advice is gold for all of us. He says, "You know, I feel like as far as that stuff goes you just kind of speak it from your heart and you know it might be short, it might be long, it might come off corny or something but… You know, out there doing what we do, you don't have much time to spend at home, so it is important that you spend that time with your loved ones when you can. I don't know about romantic, but I try."
Yes! Do more. James Otto has it right, "I think she'd say that I have my bouts of romance. You know, we definitely… we've been together for ten years, like, now I think. There's definitely still romance in the relationship…I think that, I don't know, it's like anything… it goes through its up and downs. But as far as the actual romantic gestures are concerned, I think there's definitely always love and you always try to do something especially on Valentine's Day, 'cause we consider that our anniversary. 'Cause we got together…started really dating right around that time, about ten years ago. And so, for sure we always do something really special on Valentine's Day. But I'm probably like most men and don't do as much as I should. I probably should do more."
