The Tri-County Humane Society is putting out an urgent call for Tisha.  She needs a home very soon as she has been at TCHS for quite some time now.  Give them a call at 320-252-0896.

Here is Tisha's story.

Tisha came to TCHS because she was being too territorial of her home when strangers came to the door.  While she is very social and friendly, her previous home ran a business and there were a lot of people in uniforms coming and going and Tisha would bark at them because they were coming into "her territory".

Tisha is a very nice dog to people she knows but she is also a watch dog and will let you know if a stranger has arrived.  She would be better suited for a quieter home where there was less traffic of people coming and going.

Tisha was otherwise described as a wonderful companion.  Tisha enjoys going for a good run and playing with toys.   She loves hard plastic or rubber toys.  She has lived with another dog in her past and gets along well with them.  She has a tendency to try and chase cats, so a feline free home would be best.  Tisha has been around children of all ages and loves to play with them.  She may get excited and knock over little ones, however.

She has had some hunting training in the past and loves playing fetch with a tennis ball. Tisha is super smart and "sits" very well.  She is very loyal and will make a wonderful companion.

Thank you to MN Snap for spaying Tisha. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
