UPDATE: St. Joseph Police Dealing with a Suicidal Person

ST. CLOUD - Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner tells WJON they are dealing with a suicidal person this morning in St. Joseph.  They are refusing to come out of the house.

The CERT team a secured the area.  Sanner says they're hopeful they'll be able to come to a peaceful resolution.

Some St. Joseph residents received a warning phone message earlier this morning. Residents are asked to stay away from the 300 block between Seventh and Ninth avenues southeast.

No other information is being released.

We expect to get an update later today.
