ST. CLOUD - The Stearns County Sheriff's Office has identified the body of the 21-year-old woman found on the ice on the Mississippi River.

She's been identified as Hannah Udvig of St. Cloud. The preliminary investigation leads deputies to believe that she either fell or jumped from the Granite City Crossing Bridge - also known as the Highway 23 bridge. The autopsy results show that she died from injuries consistent with a fall to the ice.

Her body was spotted by a walker on the bridge at about 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone that may have been on or near that bridge at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. Potential witnesses should call the Stearns County Sheriff's Office at 251-4240.

During the investigation on Sunday afternoon, police also found the body of a male along the river bank. St. Cloud police have not released any information yet on that investigation, as they await autopsy results.

Authorities say they do not believe the two cases are connected.
