LITTLE FALLS -- A Minnesota soldier will represent our National Guard at the Army's 2017 Best Warrior Competition.

Staff Sergeant Daniel Sebo won the National Guard Best Warrior Competition at Camp Ripley this week. Sebo was one of 14 soldiers taking part in the four-day contest which ended Thursday.

The competition featured events designed to provide the maximum amount of challenge to the soldiers participating. These included a weapons qualification, physical fitness test, and ended with a road march around Lake Itasca in full gear.

The "All-Army" competition will be in October. This was the first time Ripley hosted the Guard's competition.
