Two Teachers From Oak Hill Are Our May ‘Co-Teachers of the Month’ [WATCH]

Congratulations to Paul Bates and Mark Heysse from Oak Hill Elementary in St. Cloud. They are co-gym who were nominated by Pam Tarrolly , a parent of one of their second grade students. Tarrolly had this to say about them;

We  would like to please nominated 2 teachers who co teach together at oak hill in the phy ed dept. They are the only 2 teachers and work together all day teaching all the kids at Oak Hill phy ed. But they do so much more. Mr. Bates and Mr. Heysse both do so much than just teach gym. They teach kids how to love sports and try new ones. How to be confident in their physically ability no matter their athletic ability or size. They teach them how to use their time wisely to get fit and stay active. These 2 teachers are completely hands on…they are not the old school phy ed teachers who stand by and blow a whistle. Rather they just right in the action and play with they kids. They are running and jumping dancing and doing all the activities right along side each kid. They make learning fun and exciting for all kids. EVERYONE LOVES MR BATES AND MR. HEYSSE.  They are a great team and they work so hard everyday. They have kids screaming and running all day long and they never get mad or angry. They embrace it and love it and welcome it. Mr Bates and Mr Heysse really both deserve this award. Congratulation!"

Thanks again, Mr. Bates and Mr. Heysse for being an outstanding teachers to all of your students at Oak Hill Elementary. Your hard work has definitely been noticed by everyone around you!

The two teachers received cheesecake and fudge from Christine’s Sweet Confections, 98.1 gear, a gift card from The Hideout Bar, a 98.1 FM hat and a beautiful trophy from All Star Trophy.
