Two Minnesota Cities Make the List for Best Places to Celebrate the 4th of July

I don't know about you but I've had some pretty awesome 4th of July celebrations here in Minnesota, so it comes as no surprise that our state has two cities on Wallethub's list of best places to celebrate Independence Day.

The folks at Wallethub did their magic math to determine how some of the largest cities in the United States balance the cost of the holiday (everything from travel to hamburger buns) while still having fun.

Researchers looked at things such as length of fireworks shows, gas prices, the number of festivals and other similar activities.  They also used the weather forecast to help make their determination.

Apparently Minnesotans have it goin' on because St. Paul took the third spot and Minneapolis came in at #1!  How awesome is that?

There's no doubt in my mind we do have some of the best celebrations here in Minnesota! I'm proud of our state and can't wait to participate in 4th of July festivities!
