The Minnesota Twins (70-65) picked up a 3-2 win over the Houston Astros (74-62) last night at Minute Maid Park -- thanks to Eddie Rosario's two-run triple in the ninth, followed by a ninth inning, game-saving catch by Byron Buxton. Texas also won, keeping the Twins 1.5 games back in the Wild Card race.

Twins starter Ervin Santana was excellent against the Astros, following up his 10-strikeout performance on August 30th, with last night's career-high tying 11-strikeout performance.

The Twins and Astros will play the rubber-game of the series this afternoon at 1:10 CT in Houston.

Go Twins!
