Just before today's MLB trade deadline, the Minnesota Twins sent baseman Brian Dozier to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In exchange, the Twins receive second baseman Logan Forsythe and two prospects.

Dozier joins teammates Lance Lynn (Yankees), Eduardo Escobar (Diamondbacks), Ryan Pressly (Astros), and Zack Duke as Twins players that have been traded in the past week.

In addition to Forsythe, left handed pitching prospect Devin Smeltzer and outfielder Luke Raley.

Dozier was an eighth round draft pick by the Twins in 2009.
