The Minnesota Twins (4-6) won their third straight game last night, beating the Cleveland Indians (3-6) 3-2 on Trevor Plouffe's 11th inning walk-off solo home run at Target Field. Twins starter Mike Pelfrey pitched five innings, giving up one run on three hits and four walks.

Plouffe was just 3-for-34 at the plate coming into last night, but came through in a big way with the 11th inning homer. The Twins are hopeful it's a sign of things to come from Plouffe, who collected 56 extra-base hits last season.

The Twins' last walk-off win came on September 19th, 2014, and was also against the Indians, a 5-4 victory. The player with the game-winning hit? Trevor Plouffe, who just happens to have three of the last four walk-off hits for Minnesota.

Next up for the Twins; this afternoon at 1:10 PM against the Cleveland Indians at Target Field (Radio: 1240 WJON, TV: Fox Sports North).

Go Twins!
