The Minnesota Twins will honor Jacob Wetterling Friday night at Target Field. Both the Twins and their opponent that night, the Cleveland Indians, will wear commemorative patches on their uniforms.

In a press release, the Twins note that Wetterling wore a red #11 jersey when he played sports, and the Wetterling family asked people to use the number 11 "as a symbol of hope to honor their son and show a commitment to making the world a better place for kids."

The Jacob Wetterling Resource Center is asking for people to live by these 11 traits:

The Twins will auction off 11 game-worn jerseys with the #11 patch with all proceeds benefiting the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center.

The team will also have a moment of remembrance before Friday's game, and will unveil an outfield wall graphic that will remain on the field throughout the season.
