The Twins snapped a four game losing streak with a series-opening 4-3 win at Cleveland Tuesday night.

Minnesota scored all four of their runs in the top of the fourth inning. Joe Mauer started the rally with a two-out double, then scored on a Kennys Vargas double. Trevor Plouffe knocked in Vargas before Oswaldo Arcia made the score 4-2 with a two-run home run.

Trevor May earned his second straight win to improve to 2-4 on the season after allowing two runs on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts in five innings pitched. Jared Burton pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save.

The Twins and Indians will play again Wednesday night. Kyle Gibson will get the start for Minnesota against Cleveland’s TJ House.
