Twins Show Signs of Life with Sweep of Angels
After getting off to the worst start in team history, the Minnesota Twins (3-9) have rebounded from nine straight losses to complete a 3-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels (5-7) with a 3-2 win yesterday afternoon at Target Field. LA had come into the series on a four game winning streak.
To endure that first stretch and respond this way is a good sign -- 0-9 is a pretty big hole so you don't want to get too giddy. But you'll take bunching some wins here in response to that 0-9. So the guys should enjoy themselves here. - Twins manager Paul Molitor
The Twins start a quick 2-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers (5-7) at 7:10 tonight at Target Field. The game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON, and seen on Fox Sports North Plus.
