The Twins fell 3-2 against the Phillies at Target Field Thursday night. Cliff Lee got the win for Philadelphia with seven strong innings.

The game was 1-0 in favor of Philly heading into the bottom of the seventh inning when Justin Morneau clubbed a two-run double that gave the Twins a 2-1 lead.

The Phils responded in the top of the eighth inning, however, with a pair of runs on a single and a groundout to take the 3-2 win.

Jared Burton took the loss for the Twins after giving up the two runs in the eighth inning, falling to 0-4 on the season.  Joe Mauer and Ryan Doumit had the only other hits in the game for Minnesota.

The Twins host the Tigers for three games beginning Friday night. Scott Diamond is the scheduled starter for the Twins. The Tigers will start Rick Porcello.
