ST. CLOUD -- After a rainy start, thousands of people enjoyed a gorgeous summer night at the Liberty Block Party featuring country singer Travis Tritt.

The free concert is part of St. Cloud's Granite City Days and the evening was in jeopardy as a storm washed through the area, causing the start of the concert to be delayed two hours.

But the rain stopped, and the rain clouds gave way to sunshine, and thousands filled Liberty Square in downtown St. Cloud to watch Travis Tritt belt out some classic country tunes.

Granite City Days continues Saturday with a parade downtown starting at 10:00 a.m. and a karaoke contest at Lake George starting at 5:00 p.m.
