The University of Minnesota has fired head football coach Tracy Claeys. Claeys was scheduled to meet this afternoon with U of M Athletic Director Mark Coyle to discuss Claeys' future with the team.

The firing comes amidst an ongoing sexual assault investigation resulting in the suspension of ten players. There was also a brief boycott by the rest of the team following the suspensions.

Neither the University or Tracy Claeys have released a statement at this time.
