You know that feeling you get when you're hosting a dinner party?  Like, "oh, I hope Joe doesn't say anything to Sara about her plastic surgery?" or "please, don't let Jane talk about how wonderful her husband is, no one cares."  It's those sorts of topics that you hope everyone can stay away from.

The Daily Mail published a list of things that should never be brought up at dinner.  It includes topics such as politics, religion, salaries, social media profiles and relationship status.

These are all legitimate things to not bring up but there are a few others that shouldn't be brought up at my house.  This is good information in case you're ever over for dinner.

1.  Hunting -- My dad and brothers are avid duck and goose hunters.  They can go on and on about it all day.  No offense, I don't want to ever hear about it let alone at dinner time.  It pretty much bores me to tears and I will probably start talking about shopping to counteract my boredom.

2.  The state of our country -- This pretty much goes hand in hand with politics and everyone in my family has an opinion.  It gets turned in to a long lengthy argument that never seems to end.

3.  Significant others -- You're free to talk about yours, but don't bring up ours.  In the past there have been some boyfriends and girlfriends our parents haven't liked real well so we avoid talking about them.  Period.

4.  Donkeys -- You can talk about the mini donkeys my parents have as long as you have good things to say about them.  Otherwise you'll probably get called a name that's also used for a donkey.  Oh, and don't try to get my dad to talk to Pancho, it's kinda weird.

5.  Money --  For the longest time, I've heard that my younger brothers make more money than me.  While this might be true, I will argue (and win) that I have one of the coolest jobs in the whole world!

On a sidenote, you really could bring any of these things up because it would make for an awesome YouTube video!
